Congress has again had to set another deadline after having been stonewalled again and again by the DOJ during the course of its oversight investigation of the conduct of the DOJ throughout their investigation of 'Russian meddling' in the 2016 election that resulted in the spying on the Trump campaign.

The continuous stonewalling of congress and their congressional duties by the Department of Justice in regards to getting documents related to the Obama administrations' Russia probe in the lead up to, and after, the 2016 election has led to a very tense relationship between the people and its government.

McCarthy is in agreement with former Special Prosecutor Ken Starr that Trump's disparaging tweets about Mueller may be unsavory, but are protected speech in our system.
