Bill of Rights defenders gather at the Massachusetts State Capital building to rally in defense of the Second Amendment for the 'Americans for America' rally in response to the increased call for gun confiscation following the Parkland school shooting. The rally was one of many that took place across the country on April 14, 2018.

On Saturday April 14, 2018 Americans across the country gathered at their respective State capitols for the "Americans for America" rally to show their support for their Country, in particular the Second Amendment, which many have felt has been under threat.

The rally's attendants consistently remarked about the need for a "well regulated militia" as necessary for securing the freedoms endowed by the creator.

In response to the increased attacks on the Constitution in political discourse, political activism in response seems to be on the rise. One of the groups that have emerged as central organizers in the Boston area is Resist Marxism, which organized the "Boston Free Speech" rally last year.

Like the Resist Marxism group, which was slandered as "Nazis" and "supremacists" and silenced by Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, "The Three Percenters Club" has been slandered by political opponents as "White Supremacists" who have tried to say that the hand sign they use is a display of "W" and "P" for "White Power."

The extreme rhetoric and propaganda being pushed in conjunction with radical proposals draconianly executed and enforced, which undermine the fabric of the nation itself, have many like the Three Percenters Club - the group largely present at Saturday's rally which is named after the three percent who Launched the revolution against British Tyranny in the colonies in 1776 - up and arms about tyranny on the rise. This is the what the Club says the Hand Sign represents and may be why the second amendment and its defendants are the present primary targets.

“The Constitution of most of our states (and of the United States) assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed.”
– Thomas Jefferson, letter to to John Cartwright, 5 June 1824
